A new season

As I start my second year of seminary, I am quickly realizing how different this next school year is going to be compared to last year. 18 Credits, starting an internship, learning Hebrew, things are quickly changing. So the question is, how will I react to the change? Will it be an opportunity for growth? Or will the heat of 18 credits cause me to wither?

Its only the third week of the semester, and I am already feeling the heat. The phrase I keep repeating to myself is "keep moving forward." My prayer is that as the semester progresses God will use all of the experiences to build an even stronger foundation in me.

1 Peter 2:5 (NKJV)
"You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."

  2. I'd like to add one for you John, Philippians 3:14, "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

The challenge you have before you this semester should definitely motivate you, to press on to the high calling of God in your life.

It's good to be here with you my friend.
